Thanks. The trick is, I'm trying to Send As a mail-enabled
distribution group. That way, replies will go to all of the project
team members in the group. I don't think anyone can log in as a
distribution group.
What I should do is delete the group and create a user with its
address. Then, share that user's mailbox to each team member and give
them all Send As. They'd all receive messages sent to that account
(though not in their main Inbox; they'd have to check the account's
Inbox). And, they could mail merge by logging in as that user (which
would prevent them from accessing their My Documents while not logged
in as themselves).
