I was happy to see in the release notes that Md 2008.1 is supposed to
come with all drivers needed for the Eee PC after I ordered two EeePC
900's.
Any problems with installation or configuration to get the MD 2008.1
smoothly
installed ?

Is it possible to install from USB flash memory stick instead of an
external
CDROM ?

I looked at http://wiki.mandriva.com/en/Docs/Ins...Mandriva_Linux
but couldn't understand how the installation procedure using a
USB drive works. It only says that you are supposed to copy the file
all.img,
which is only 12 MB, to the USB drive and then boot. How does the
full distribution gets loaded ? Shouldn't the entire CD iso be copied
to
the USB drive or does this method use installation from network ?
I'm obviously missing something here.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated
