Just select the shapes and press the delete key. If you get an error
saying that the shapes are protected then use the menu Format ->
Protection and untick Delete.

Hold down the Ctrl key and drag the page edges with the mouse.
Or use the menu File -> Page Setup to change the drawing and/or paper
size.
