Dates on message board

For some reason, the dates listed in my emails is listed day/month/year and
the time is military time. I like the time to be non military and the date
to be month/day/year. How do I change it back

Does this question have anything whatsoever to do with Microsoft Access, the
subject of this newsgroup? What "message board" software are you using?
