Re: Form size
Use the move method in the Resize event. It will cause some flickering on
screen as the user tries to resize, relocate the form. Private Sub Form_Resize() 'Location is in TWIPS (1440 to the inch) Forms("YourFormName").Move 1440, 1440, 10000, 7500 End Sub John Spencer Access MVP 2002-2005, 2007-2008 The Hilltop Institute University of Maryland Baltimore County Udayan wrote: > Help me please.... > > Is there any way to keep the form in specific size we required, when we open > that form |

Re: Form size
Sir my question was,
Suppose i have 3 forms in a access data base. First form when it opens is it possible to keep it in maximize position. second form when it opens on center of the screen 10" x 10" size. Third form when it opens on the left corner of the screen 10" x 20" size "John Spencer" wrote: > Use the move method in the Resize event. Re: Form size
Sorry, I can't help you further. Suggest you repost your question.
Also, are all three forms supposed to be open at once or is only one form open at a time? Re: Form size
Try the MoveSize method in the form's Open event. See VBA Help for more
information. It would be something like this for your 10x20 form (big screen?) that opens at the top left corner: DoCmd.MoveSize 0, 0, 20 * 1440, 10 * 1440 For the form in the center of the screen, you will have to experiment to find the right measurements for the first two numbers. Maybe something like: DoCmd.MoveSize 2 * 1440, 1440, 10 * 1440, 10 * 1440 The reason for the 1440 is that the measurement unit is a twip, which is a 20th of a point, of which there are 72 per inch. Multiply the desired number of inches by 1440 as shown, or just multiply inches by 1440: DoCmd.MoveSize 0, 0, 28800, 14400 "Udayan" <Udayan@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:A5C72226-8780-4053-BEF1-0325583E9CEC@microsoft.com... > Sir only one form open at a time > > "John Spencer" wrote: > >> Sorry, I can't help you further.
