I have a vista ultimate, trying to install Expression Web studio 2. It
requires Fx 3.5 but the installation of 3.5 failed.
I checked teh system and only .Net fx Compact 1.0 SP3 for developer and
Compact 2.0 are listed. I was able to install VS 2005 before without
problem.

Then I tried to install 2.0SP1, I got error "This product is not supported
on Vista system"

Try to follow the instructions given here and see if it helps (try the
