custom trace listener attached system.net ???
OK I know how to create a custom listener on the trace object that allow me
to insert trace code BUT I want to hook the underlying system calls when doing an http or ftp transfer (i think ths is system.net name space) yes I know I can do it via the config systemdiagnostics but I want to create a runtime custom trace listener that This a simple custom tracelistener attached to the trace object oTrace = New my.ProfileTraceListener Trace.Listeners.Clear() 'remove all other trace listeners Trace.Listeners.Add(oTrace) Trace.AutoFlush = True 'System.Net.HttpListener This does not work ???? I thought yoiu create anew tracesource referenced from, the system.net name space but nope that not it ???? how do i attach my custom listener to system.net or any other dot net system.* name space Dim appTrace As New System.Diagnostics.TraceSource("System.Net", SourceLevels. All) appTrace.Listeners.Clear() 'remove all other trace listeners appTrace.Listeners.Add(oTrace) For i = 0 To appTrace.Attributes.Count Debug.Print(appTrace.Attributes(i)) Next |
