Excel password required to open
Some years ago I created an Excel file to store telephone numbers from my
mobile phone. This went missing and I lost all the numbers but thought my file would be my saviour - but alas- even though I know I wouldn't have changed my Password To Open I cannot get the file to open at all. Is there a way I can get to the information without having to pay for an excel cracker? -- Martin1946 willing to learn |

Re: Excel password required to open
Hello
thanks for suggestion. I have searched for "Free" software for several days but most seem to either offer preview 3 lines of info then ask you to buy or they only offer to find first 2 or 3 characters of password. Having trialled some of these (my password when set was only 8 characters long) they indicate the length to be in excess of 10 characters. wouyld like to know name of a completely free fully working version. -- Martin1946 willing to learn "Bruce Sinclair" wrote: > In article <20230B30-A4BB-4DB2-9FEC-518D18A7269B@microsoft.com>, =?Utf-8?B?TWFydGluMTk0Ng==?= <Martin1946@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote: > >Some years ago I created an Excel file to store telephone numbers from my > >mobile phone. Tried the first one and it worked fine. As an aside, thanks to the guys out there that regularly help us all out with this sort of useful thing. :) |
