Opposite of concatenate
I used the concatenate function to combine columns to make a product be
B18-DST-34-30. Now I want to break that number back apart. All of the segments are not the same length. Can you reseparate them by using the "-" as a designator? |

Re: Opposite of concatenate
If your data is in a single column, you could use:
Select the range Data|Text to columns Delimited (by hyphen) (xl2003 menus) Chip wrote: > > I used the concatenate function to combine columns to make a product be > B18-DST-34-30.
