Re: copy images with worksheet

What type of images and how are you doing the copy?

Which images will copy and which don't?

Any common factor that you can identify?

They are all gif format and exactly the same.I didn't think of this
before but the first one (the one that copies into the imae program)
was inserted and the rest were copies of that first one. Would that
make a difference?

Problem solved. Apparently if you copy images from within excel they
will not copy to an external program. However if you insert them
individually they will copy.

Re: copy images with worksheet

I cannot replicate your problem.

I follow the steps you took to insert a *.gif then copy and paste it a few
times.

Sel;ect a range that encompasses those images.

SHIFT + Edit>Copy Picture>As shown on screen>Format>Picture.

No problem getting all images to paste into 3 different image editing
applications or Word.

I would say copying copies of images is not a limitation in Excel.

Re: copy images with worksheet

Just to add..........I would say it may be a problem with the image application
program you are copying to.

Please tell us the name of that application.
