Excel in Mobile 6 doesn't recognize .xlsx files
I'm new to use of Win Mobile 6. When I paste in a .xlsx file from Excel 2007
in my PC, using Windows Mobile Device Center on the PC, the file transfers into a directory on the PDA, but it isn't accessed by Excel Mobile 6. If I first convert the file to an Excel 97-2003 format, then paste it into PDA, Excel Mobile 6 opens it; however, the two files don't sinc with WMDC. Any suggestions would be appreciated. -- yttrias |

Only possible suggestion - use *ONLY* Excel 97-2003 .XLS format until you can upgrade Excel on your PDA to a version that supports .XLSX files. |

Re: Excel in Mobile 6 doesn't recognize .xlsx files
Thank you for the reply. I am running WM 6 on an XV6800, and I had assumed
that it would support .xlsx files. Do some devices running WM6 support .xlsx files (while others do not)? Or, is it the case that NO such devices exist? Also, WMDC isn't sincing the .xls files on PC (VISTA) and the XV6800. Is it sufficient to copy a .xls file from PC, and paste it into a new file on XV6800, followed by SAVE AS, in order to establish the relationship between the two files necessary to sinc them? Thanks again for the help. -- yttrias "Harlan Grove" wrote: > yttrias <yttr...@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote... > >I'm new to use of Win Mobile 6.
