converting excel rows into text

How can I take a row of data from a spreadsheet and convert it into text
separated by commas in a Word document? I tried "saving as" but it didn't
work as I expected it to. Thanks!

Re: converting excel rows into text

Try saving the sheet as a .csv (File>Save As>Save as type: CSV)
Then open the .csv in Word
