Lost data in office 2007

Hi all,

It happened few times in three months. I built a database and did save data
all the time, but excel suddenly shut down and it appeaed "damage data". Even
I tried to recover it, it was not a complete database that I built . What
should I do? Does it always happen in office 2007?
