One of the tools that I used exclusively in Excel is the shapes pallets that
you could snap off and use to construct flow charts. Now that I have upgraded
to Office 2007 I cannot use these pallets. It is slow and frustrating.

I would use Visio, but too many of my clients have and use Excel and it is
not expedient for them to upgrade.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You are out of luck I am afraid, you cannot tear-off of the ribbon.
