save password doesn't work

I created a webpage with a textbox for a username and one for a
password. When I submit the form, IE asks if I want to save the
password. I choose yes. When I go back to the page and enter the
same username, the password is filled in automatically like you would
expect. I added another textbox to the form. Now when I go to the
page and I enter the username, the password does not get filled in
automatically. How can I get IE to fill in the password automatically
when the form has this additional textbox?
