Need a 'Search Defaults' script.
Dear All,
I've had a search around and have not come up with anything, I'm looking for a way to add a few "Search Providers" into IE7 using a script (vb) or a regfile. To keep my PC clean, I regulaly do re-installs from a image (for speed) but there are a few things I don't have in the Image, like network drives, favs, etc... these are all added by a click of a .vbs script.... I'd like to do the same with the "Search Providers"... 'Live Search" is the standard one, and I'd like to add, for example Google, IMDB, etc, without having to go to their site and type in "TEST" to get the code to be added, etc, etc... Is there anyway around this? I thought about posting to microsoft.public.scripting.vbscript, but I then thought, I'd post here first incase somebody has wanted something similar... Hope someone can help.. Regards Paul |

Re: Need a 'Search Defaults' script.
Don't ya just hate it when this happens.......
Changed a few words in Google search, and found a link.... I've managed to setup a .reg file that i double click and it installs them into IE7.....then all I need to do is manually change the 'Default' one....
