Login to websites loads other user

Hi, this is my first time using this resource. Hopefully somebody can help me.

I have an issue when logging into a website using a username and password,
the site loads with the previous user's info. For example, my wife will log
in to her bank account and then logout. Then, through the same website I
will log in to my account under different username/password. But, my wife's
account information is what comes up. The only way I can sign in and view my
account is to clear history and temporary internet files. I have this
problem with at least one other website that I use for work and have two
different usernames to login with. I have AutoComplete disabled so none of
my username and passwords are remembered. Is there anyway to fix this?

Thanks in advance for any help that I may recieve.
----
Ed

Re: Login to websites loads other user

Hi Ed,

Windows version?

Win 2000 and higher you can have multiple user accounts on the one computer.

Win XP and higher. You can right click on the explorer icon and choose Run
As (Administrator) and run IE in another users' process space.

You could try turning off cookies for the site to stop it retaining the
previous users login credentials. Tools>Internet Options, Privacy tab, Sites
button.
But the site may complain that you do not have cookies enabled.

But it is bad site design that is retaining credentials from the previous
session.

You can also manually delete the cookies from the site in your Temporary
Internet Files (TIF) folder. (See General tab of Internet Options)

Do not ever access this site from a public computer (net café).

Regards.

Re: Login to websites loads other user

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I have Windows Vista.

I tried blocking cookies and the run as administrator option with no change
to the problem.

The corporate website that I use for my job works flawlessly on the
computers at my workplace but not at home. My previous computer did not work
correctly for this site as well but I had no issues with any other websites
that I am currently having problems with. My old computer ran Windows XP.

I gotta go for now. Thanks for the suggestions.

Re: Login to websites loads other user

I got it fixed. My temporary internet files were set to never check for new
versions of stored pages. I changed that setting to automatically check for
new versions of stored pages and now all is well.
