IE7 and programs
I have been trying to install a program that I used on IE6 without any
problems. Some of the Active x settings were changed in IE6 to allow the program to work and I set IE7 to match those Active X settings. When I try to run the program first I get the question of do I want to install the program to which I click yes, then it says it can't verify the publisher am I sure I want to install, I click yes and then all I get is the small box with the x in it at the upper left corner. Am I missing something in the IE settings I need to change. I know this use to happen before changing the Active X settings in IE6 but after making the changes it worked fine there but not here. |

Re: IE7 and programs
The fact that a program worked on IE 6 without any problems does not
mean it will work on IE 7 without any problems. You need to contact the author of the anonymous program and ask if it is supported under IE 7. It may be that a simple update is all you need. Or it may be more complicated than that. --- Leonard Grey Errare humanum est Bill wrote: > I have been trying to install a program that I used on IE6 without any > problems.
