Re: How do I go back to IE6
Will a removal of IE7 by this method bring back IE6? My machine uses XP.
IE6 was included with the OS from Dell when I purchased it in early 2007 -- Nick "VanguardLH" wrote: > "Nick" wrote in message > news:E529D249-000F-47AE-ACA6-CB3859A99FCB@microsoft.com... > > While surfing, I made the big mistake of clicking a message to > > upgrade to > > IE7. Removing IE7 brings you back to IE6.

Re: How do I go back to IE6
Bruce and Vanguard,
Thanks for the advice. I'm back on IE6 and loving it. No more updates for me. Someone once wrote that the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence. This statement holds true when it pertains to software upgrades. I also found the other posts from a year or so ago discussing going back. Those were also helpful. Thanks Again!! -- Nick "Bruce Hagen" wrote: > Removing IE7 brings you back to IE6. > -- > Bruce Hagen > MS-MVP Outlook Express > Imperial Beach, CA > > > "Nick" <Nick@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:83A0960E-7734-4994-8549-1676F9988AE5@microsoft.com... > > Will a removal of IE7 by this method bring back IE6? Re: How do I go back to IE6
The grass may or may not be greener, but the security is much stronger
on the IE 7 side of the fence. That's what matters to me. --- Leonard Grey Errare humanum est Nick wrote: > Bruce and Vanguard, > Thanks for the advice. I'm back on IE6 and loving it.
