Re: IE 7 doesn't display add real plug dialog when it is not installed
Hi Naveent,
You are correct, IE6, IE7, and IE8 will only show image place holder icons if an ActiveX Component is not available for displaying Real Video content in the Browser. The alert for the missing Firefox Plugin(nppl3260.dll) is a Firefox feature only. Good luck, Donald Anadell "Naveent" <Naveent@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:AC8764B0-B95A-44CA-A995-EA9D458D0FF7@microsoft.com... > Steps: > 1) IE 7 and FF with no real plug in installed > 2) Goto http://www.bharatstreet.com/com/showthread.php?t=8543 > 3) IE 7 doesn't display the real plug in is missing while FF does. > > Thanks, > Naveen |
