IE &.0 Cookies
I tried all the suggestions given for the error msg I get when I try to open
and print within the webpage, it says your browser must allow cookies and javascript, your browser is blocking cookies, well I reset the browser and even compared the settings with my laptop, I still get the same problem, I'm really getting disgusted, I ran all 3 of my virus scans and the system is clean, my firewall allows cookies, I don't know any other option. -- d-driver |

Re: IE &.0 Cookies
Hi,
If Internet Explorer settings are set to default in Internet Options> Advanced and Internet Options> Security> Internet Zone, you should be looking for a third-party program as the cause of this. Go to http://gemal.dk/browserspy/ and click on Cookie Information then Javascript Information. What's the report? What third-party security/privacy/antispyware programs are installed? Re: IE &.0 Cookies
Hi Don, I went to the gemal site, a lot of useful info, it also has a link to
repair the javascript probl;ems / the info I found on cookies is: Javascript Cookies / no or unable to detect / max number of javascript cookies per server--no or unable to detect. Javascript Info: Generic javascript support--yes Can you translate what this means and do I need to reinstall javascript and adobe and reset IE 7.0, thanks -- d-driver "Don Varnau" wrote: > Hi, > If Internet Explorer settings are set to default in Internet Options> > Advanced and Internet Options> Security> Internet Zone, you should be > looking for a third-party program as the cause of this. > > Go to http://gemal.dk/browserspy/ and click on Cookie Information then > Javascript Information. Re: IE &.0 Cookies
Hi,
Did you try this cookie test? Are cookies enabled? Go to https://courses.worldcampus.psu.edu/...s/cookies.html Do you see a pop-up message "Cookies are enabled?" If I knew, I've forgotten... Which version of Windows? Which version of Internet Explorer? Do you have another browser installed? Try Firefox http://www.mozilla.com 1. It's a good idea to have a spare/backup browser installed 2. The problem may not persist in Firefox Don [MS MVP- IE] "d-driver" <ddriver@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:2AD0E2C9-5699-4A2A-A2C4-6D25DBBD2154@microsoft.com... > Yes, the ads open and I ck the ones I want to print, but it will only show > one ad ckd instead of multiple ads and when I clk print I get the error msg > saying browser is blocking cookies and javascript must be enabled. you can go > to www.mysuburbanlife.com and clk on berwyn and then clk on classified and > then clk on estate sales and the ads will open to ck.
