Clearing Drop Down Address Bar Entries
I'm using IE6. Is there any way to clear website addresses from the drop
down history list on the Address Bar without clearing the browser history itself? -- { : [|]=( DaffyDŽ If I knew where I was I'd be there now. |

Re: Clearing Drop Down Address Bar Entries
Hi,
These URLs are in the TypedURLs key in the registry. This article explains the TypedURLs history: 157729 - How to Clear the History Entries in Internet Explorer: http://support.microsoft.com/default...;en-us;Q157729 Removing some or all entries is an easy registry edit. This free program makes it even easier to remove some or all entries: EditURLs http://www.aandrc.com/editurls/index.htm Tip: If you type URLs in via File> Open, instead of the address bar, they aren't saved in the TypedURLs key and you can keep a select few URLs in the drop-down list. Hope this helps, Don [MS MVP- IE] "DaffyDŽ" <daffyd@woohoo.com> wrote in message news:uAN7p8PmIHA.2304@TK2MSFTNGP05.phx.gbl... > I'm using IE6.
