Google End User Agreement Window
Google End User Agreement Window opens 3 times on boot. (using Vista Home
Premium with Internet Explorer 7). It says that "This program cannot display the webpage" and gives all the mostly causes like "not connected - website encoutering problems etc." I can open a normal webpage and browse and download. Network is working find both local and internet. These 3 windows do not have toolbars and no close button and do not display in Task manager. They don't appear to be in MSConfig or in startmenu. Please assist. -- Margy South Africa |

RE: Google End User Agreement Window
The Properties of this window that open is:
res://ieframe.dll/dnserrordiagoff_webOC.htm#file:///C:/tb_eula/IE_eula_content/index.html 3 of these windows open - you can close 2 of them in the taskbar but not the last one. I has no toolbars no close button and you can't even right click the taskbutton and close it. Trust this will someone give me some much appreciated advice. -- Margy "Margy" wrote: > Google End User Agreement Window opens 3 times on boot. (using Vista Home > Premium with Internet Explorer 7). Re: Google End User Agreement Window
YW & I hope it's your fix.
If all is well, you might try installing the latest verion(s) of the Google add-ons. Older versions have been known to cause such problems. Margy wrote: > Thank so ever so much. Re: Google End User Agreement Window
Assuming neither of the KB articles I cited or the Guided Help link didn't
help to resolve the problem, uninstall the Google applications (and, possibly, any other toolbars or "desktop search" applications). If everything's OK afterward, contact Google Support for advice before reinstalling any of the applications. If you're not running Vista SP1 already *and* it's offered by Windows Update, I'd install it and then see if the improvements in Vista SP1's built-in seach capabilities are sufficient for your needs before reinstalling Google Desktop. -- ~PA Bear Glenys - Swansea wrote: > If I uninstall all Google to get rid of end user license agreement, wont > that also uninstall my google earth/desktop etc. and if so, how can I get > them back? > > "PA Bear [MS MVP]" wrote: >> Uninstall any/all Google applications (e.g., Google Toolbar; Google >> Desktop) & reboot. >> >> ==================================== >> >> In no certain order: >> >> How to troubleshoot Internet Explorer 7 issues in Windows Vista: >> http://support.microsoft.com/kb/936215 >> >> How to optimize or reset Internet Explorer 7: >> http://support.microsoft.com/kb/936213 >> >> Internet Explorer stops responding, stops working, or restarts (Guided >> Help) http://support.microsoft.com/gp/pc_ie_intro >> -- >> ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) >> MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Desktop Experience - since 2002 >> AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net >> DTS-L http://dts-l.net/ >> >> Margy wrote: >>> The Properties of this window that open is: >>> res://ieframe.dll/dnserrordiagoff_webOC.htm#file:///C:/tb_eula/IE_eula_content/index.html >>> >>> 3 of these windows open - you can close 2 of them in the taskbar but not >>> the >>> last one.
