Cookies getting shared across all browsers process in IE version 7
I just noticed a strange cookie sharing behavior in IE where the cookies are
shared across all browser process on IE version 7.0.5730.13.. (simiar to how Mozilla behaves) whereas the behavior is different on IE version 7.0.6000 and cookies are shared within the same browser process only, as expected and is the case for all other versions i beliebe I wonder if its a bug, in IE that particular, whatever it is, it seems like the behavior is not consistent in all IE 7 versions.. Has anyone else noticed a similar scenario, any comments |

Just one of the many enhanced security defaults in Vista (v7.0.6000) when
compared to WinXP (v7.0.5730.13). -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Desktop Experience - since 2002 AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net DTS-L http://dts-l.net/ Flash Plugin - Does it come bundled ? wrote: > I just noticed a strange cookie sharing behavior in IE where the cookies > are shared across all browser process on IE version 7.0.5730.13.. Re: Cookies getting shared across all browsers process in IE versi
So u are saying, this behavior (where the session cookies are shared just
within one browser process only) is a new feature in vista (v7.0.6000) ? because to my knowledge/understanding this was the default behavior on even earlier versions too, isnt that so? except for the specific version 7.0.5730.13 which did surprise me and i thought it is a bug in that particular version ?
