Authorization Required
I have been trying to download an on line magazine. I was given the user name
and password by the publisher but on entering them I got the following Error. "This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g. bad password), or your browser dosn't understnad how to supply the credentials required." "Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request." I have been back to the publisher who has verified the user name and password. Any help would be appreciated |

Re: Authorization Required
Hi rmp,
Go back to the Publisher and verify the user name and password again, making sure that you do not have the CAPS key on when you type them in and that the password and user name are exactly (same case) as supplied. It would be best to try logging in while you have them on the phone (if you have broadband). The 404 error message should be of interest to the Publisher as that indicates that they have not put a page that would tell you what when wrong when you signed in. Regards.
