I just want to re-install IE7
Even Google is stupider when it comes to fidinng resources for "re-install
internet explorer 7", even M$'s search comes up with everything else but "reinstall" it. Isn't there a direct, simple, step-x-step how-to for reinstalling IE7? |

Re: I just want to re-install IE7
Let's leave aside for now discussions of who is stupid.
If you have Windows Vista, IE 7 cannot be re-installed. It's part of the operating system. To re-install IE 7 you re-install the operating system. If you have have Windows XP, you can re-install IE 7. Since you have trouble searching the web I'll do it for you: Uninstall IE 7 (which returns you to IE 6) by following these directions: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927177 ....and... http://www.ie-vista.com/kbase2.html Before installing IE 7 you need to carefully follow the pre-installation preparation described here: http://www.ie-vista.com/known_issues.html#pre-install. Download the IE 7 installer directly from Microsoft and install from your hard disk: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/dow.../getitnow.mspx --- Leonard Grey Errare humanum est Shell wrote: > Even Google is stupider when it comes to fidinng resources for "re-install > internet explorer 7", even M$'s search comes up with everything else but > "reinstall" it. > > Isn't there a direct, simple, step-x-step how-to for reinstalling IE7? > > |

Re: I just want to re-install IE7
Well, on the first note, IE7 can't even follow a simple M$ email notification
of your reply! That aside, fixing IE7 is the same as buying a new car to fix a flat. As much as I hate loving M$, alternatives are looking better all the time. Re: I just want to re-install IE7
There are several very good alternatives to Internet Explorer which you
can try. However, they won't teach you how to search the web. --- Leonard Grey Errare humanum est Shell wrote: > Well, on the first note, IE7 can't even follow a simple M$ email notification > of your reply! Re: I just want to re-install IE7
1 - No kidding but it doesn't answer the question - which is/was """Isn't
there a direct, simple, step-x-step how-to for reinstalling IE7?""" Your non-answeer in here suggests to others in passing theThread titles that the question was answered - it wasn't. 2 - Don't lend insults about search engines - especially those like Google that push what they want for a result, instead of a result. Google threw boolean operands out when they got their first cheque and now couldn't find it's a$$ because Amazon has it in their stock! 3 - End of discussion S "Leonard Grey" wrote: > There are several very good alternatives to Internet Explorer which you > can try. Re: I just want to re-install IE7
We can't tell you squat until you reveal your Windows version.
