Re: How to return to V6
Uninstall doesn't work on my system for V7, although it does work for other
programs. But for IE V7, in add/remove programs, all I can select is, "Click here for support information" Have they disabled my ability to remove the program?? "Vincenzo Di Russo [MVP]" wrote: > > Uninstall from Control panel -> Add/Remove Programs. |

Re: How to return to V6
If you installed Service Pack 3 after you installed IE 7 you have to
uninstall SP 3 first before you can uninstall IE 7. P.S. It's called Windows Internet Explorer now, not Microsoft Internet Explorer like in the old days. Maybe they thought that if they got rid of "Microsoft" people would forget who created IE 7. --- Leonard Grey Errare humanum est Unhappy with V7 wrote: > Uninstall doesn't work on my system for V7, although it does work for other > programs. Now we will be faced with people unable to distinguish between the web browser ("Windows Internet Explorer") and the file manager ("Windows Explorer"). Along with the "Outlook/Outlook Express", and "Windows Mail/Windows Live Mail" confusion. -- Norman ~Shine, bright morning light, ~now in the air the spring is coming. ~Sweet, blowing wind, ~singing down the hills and valleys. |
