javascript

somehow i can't open certain sites, only a empty space and a small red x
comes up on the screen,,,i try downloading adobeflashplayer(4 times),but it
does not work, someone told me that it's becouse i have my javascript not
activated...can this be the reazon for the problem and if so, how can i get
back my javascript???? T V M

No way to know for sure because we have no idea what websites are
"certain sites", nor do we know what version of Internet Explorer you
have or what version of Windows it's running on.

If you use IE7: Start, Settings, Control panel click Internet Options then
Security tab. In Internet either click 'Reset all zones to default leve'
tab or click the 'Custom level...' tab and scroll down to 'Scripting of
Jave applets' and activate the 'Enable' radio button.
