IE 7 Issue On My ThinkPad

XP Prof SP3
IE 7.0.5730.11
ThinkPad

I've noticed that when I open a new tab in IE 7, the application "freezes".
The first tab works, it's when I start a new window tab that the error
occurs. I quit, send the message to MS and that's it.

I update frequently from MS/Lenovo for patches, etc.

Any help is appreciated

Re: IE 7 Issue On My ThinkPad

This is frequently caused by an incompatible browser add-on. The
troubleshooting steps described below will help you to diagnose and fix
the problem:

How to Optimize or Reset Internet Explorer 7

(Give the Guided Help a try.)

Problems with Internet Explorer can also be caused by the presence of
viruses or other malicious software.

Re: IE 7 Issue On My ThinkPad

Thanks for the advice.

This worked.

What's strange is that when I disabled all Add-Ins it worked.

When I enabled all add-ins it still worked.

Strange.
