Can't Access Web Sites

I've read several posts by people with the same problem I'm having.
Hopefully by providing more information, somebody will have a solution.

**Techie Stuff**
Windows XP
IE 7

**Last Night**
Opened IE, clicked favorites, opened web site, closed IE, went to bed
**This Morning**
Opened IE, clicked favorites, opened web site, got error message "Internet
Explorer cannont display the webpage"

**What I've Found**
Web sites that are under the root Favorites and 1 folder level in get the
above error message. Sites that are 2 or more folders in from the root
Favorites work fine.

**What I've Tried**
Read several articles on possible fixes
Deleted cookies
Deleted browsing history
Started IE with Add-ons turned off
Re-installed IE 7
Turned off my firewall
Called a friend and had them check the site I was visiting was working
Tried accessing the site from a link (Yahoo Search)
Swore at my computer

**A Few Sites That Won't Work**
www.amazon.com
www.worldofwarcraft.com
www.ebay.com

Hopefully this is enough info. Any questions or missing information, please
post and I will try and provide it right away.

Thanks for reading this and providing any help
