Hi,
Access your resolution and other display settings from Control Panel>
Personalization> Display Settings. You may want to lower resolution- or you
may not.

But... some webpages will fill the screen while others are designed (coded,
written) to be a specific width such as 800, 1024 or 1280 pixels.

On some pages, the IE7 zoom feature (right end of the IE7 Status Bar) may be
useful.

To add to Don's comment:
If blank, black area is left on the edges the monitor should have controls
on the front or back to fix that.
