I am using Visa Basic, I cannot download and install a program, I have tried
to click run and save, both times it seems to be downloading, but when it is
done the download window closes and it seems to think it's done, without
saving or running the download. Does anyone recognize this or know what to
do? I cannot download updates or programs.

Does your User Account have sufficient permissions to download/install
applications? Can you save the download to your HDD and then install it?

I am facing the same problem.

My lap top is Acer .
Vista home basic.


Now , I can not down load , save or open the file . It shows working as
usual , but didn't ask where to save like before and then back to before
down load attempt situation .


Sometime it show Miscrosoft internet explorer is stop working . But other
window ( e-mail / web pages are still open and working ).
