RE: New Community Column: Windows Internet Explorer 7 Toolbar Opti
Why - oh why, is it SOO hard to find this information? I went so far as to
download firefox, but couldn't bring myself to install it yet - I decided to go back to IE6 but just couldn't let go of this thread. After reading through about 10 pages (or so?) I finally found this hint. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! This should be a sticky at the top of the forum. -- Mike "fasterhorses" wrote: > Create this shortcut and use it: c:\windows\ie7\iexplore.exe > > You get the classic menu view. Thank goodness. RE: New Community Column: Windows Internet Explorer 7 Toolbar Opti
Drat - I spoke too soon. While this hint does allow me to use the classic
menu and toolbar, it does seem to disable tabbing. The one nice feature of IE 7 that I like. Also, when clicking on entries from the history listing, the window that opens still uses the new user-be-damned layout of the browser. -- Mike "mike s in FL" wrote: > Why - oh why, is it SOO hard to find this information?
