IE7 EXTREMELY Slow accessing Ebay Selling Manager

Since getting a new computer with iE7 and Windows Vista on it, my access to
my 'Selling Manager' pages on Ebay is EXTREMELY SLOW. I can switch to
Netscape Navigator and they work great, so it's not ebay and not the
computer, but IE7. I think the problem is there are hunreds of links on the
pages and maybe IE is scanning each one EVERYTIME to make sure they are safe
or something. I tried listing ebay as a 'trusted' site to stop this, but
then it won't allow me to even log into ebay that way. Is there some way to
stop IE from scanning these pages and speed it back up. It is impossible to
use this way; each page takes from 30 seconds to over a minute to load (there
are NO PICTURES, I AM NOT ON DIAL UP) vs. using Navigator which takes 2
seconds or less.

Any ideas?

thank you

Re: IE7 EXTREMELY Slow accessing Ebay Selling Manager

To determine if your problem is caused by a third-party add-on, start IE
7 with no add-ons. If the problem no longer occurs, one (or more)
add-ons was causing the problem.

Type Internet Explorer in the Start Search box > click Internet Explorer
(No Add-Ons)

To determine if your problem is caused by incorrect configuration
settings, reset IE 7 to its original configuration. If the problem no
longer occurs, one (or more) incorrect configuration settings was
causing the problem.

Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab > under Reset Internet Explorer
Settings, click Reset.

Note: If you want to continue to use any of your add-ons after a reset,
you'll have to reinstall them.

Most third party security applications (security suites, anti-virus
programs, anti-spyware programs, firewalls, ad-blockers, etc.) interact
with Internet Explorer to protect your computer from malicious software.
Check the settings in your security software to see if this is happening
to you.

Problems with IE 7 can also be caused by the presence of viruses or
other malicious software.

Re: IE7 EXTREMELY Slow accessing Ebay Selling Manager

Ok, I will give these ideas a try. I have this problem ONLY on my Ebay
Selling Manager pages (again, which have LOTS of hyperlinks on them, but no
pictures). I don't have the problem in other areas of ebay or on other web
sites.

Thanks for your reply, I'll see what happens with these suggestions.
