Re: ie 7 won't display my msn home page
Hi,
You cleared *all* cookies, right? Run the command "ipconfig /flushdns" (without quotes) from Start> Run. Have you reset (powered down) modem, router, etc? Turn on the Windows Firewall from Control Panel> Windows Firewall and disable any third-party firewall or security suite, as a test. See if that program is causing the problem. Hope this helps, Don [MS MVP- IE] "trcudmore" <trcudmore@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:E2F18A83-1C6B-4636-8805-3B270625539C@microsoft.com... > IE7 on an xp system...i have windows live. 2 days ago it started...i start > ie and ie will not go to my home page(my msn.com). it tells me it cannot find > it or sometimes it loads a blank page. i have tried cleaning temp files > cookies browsing history. i have tried disabling add ons, changing my home > page and back to my msn.com. so far nothing seems to work. any help or > suggestions would be great > thanks |

Hi,
Can you connect to http://www.msn.com ? In Internet Options> Privacy, try a setting of Low or Accept all.
