On wireless IE 7 not working, IE6 and Firefox working
Hi All,
Lately I've noticed my laptop has an issue with IE 7 when I'm using a wireless rather than a wired connection only. And it typically happens during or after I've connected to my company's VPN. What happens is that IE 7 doesn't load any websites, It just shows "connecting..." for ever. But IE6 and Firefox work fine. Any suggestions as to how to solve this problem. Chris |

We can't offer any suggestions until you state your Windows version.

Sorry I should have mentioned I'm using Windows XP Pro SP 2
Intel Pentium M 2.13 GHz 2GB of RAM The problem isn't occurring today but I have no idea if it's gone away permanently. While it could be a hardware issue, the following KB article might prove
helpful: How to troubleshoot network connectivity problems in Internet Explorer [ignore APPLIES TO section if you're not running Vista or IE7] http://support.microsoft.com/kb/936211 -- ~PA Bear Chris M wrote: > Sorry I should have mentioned I'm using Windows XP Pro SP 2 > Intel Pentium M 2.13 GHz > 2GB of RAM > > The problem isn't occurring today but I have no idea if it's gone away > permanently. > > On Dec 27, 8:30 pm, "PA Bear" <PABear...@gmail.com> wrote: >> We can't offer any suggestions until you state your Windows version. >> -- >> ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) >> MS MVP-Windows (IE, OE, Security, Shell/User) >> AumHa VSOP & Adminhttp://aumha.net >> DTS-Lhttp://dts-l.net/ >> >> Chris M wrote: >>> Hi All, >>> Lately I've noticed my laptop has an issue with IE 7 when I'm using a >>> wireless rather than a wired connection only.
