IE 7 shuts down when I click on PDF's

About a week or two ago, I ran windows updates and upgraded from IE6 to IE 7.
Since that time, whenever I click on a PDF or in some cases any link IE shuts
down about a second or two into the process. It’s driving me nuts!

Please Help!

Uninstall all versions of Adobe (Acrobat) Reader and then either install the
newest version from Adobe or install Foxit:
