After installing internet explorer 7.0 I´m getting very irritated each time
I´m going to save a favourite page. I takes a lot of time finding the correct
favourite subfolder because all folders are displayed at the same time. This
was not a problem in previous versions of internet explorer. Why mess things
up in internet explorer 7.0 ? Why not only show favourite subfolders when
selected like in previous versions of internet explorer ? Do I have to go
back to a previous version of internet explorer to make it possible to easy
save favourite pages under selected subfolders or is there a "hidden" setting
somewhere that makes it possible in internet explorer 7.0 also ? Why make
such a stupid change in internet explorer 7.0 making it harder to save
favourites in subfolders ?

Press the ALT key to temporarily display the menu bar. To display
permanently: Tools > Menu Bar.

I really don´t understand what you mean.. I have a Tools menu (which is
called "Verktyg" in Sweden) but I can´t find any selection under Tools menu
that is called "Menu bar" (or anything like it in swedish)..

Right click anywhere on the Toolbar and make sure the Toolbar is not locked,
then repeat and choose menu Bar.

If you are referring to the issue of an expanded folder tree(as depicted in
the following screenshot):

when you use Add to Favorites, I'm afraid there has been no fix for this
problem||bug||glitch||feature design yet. This issue has been on going
since the release of IE7, and has been discussed in many threads in this
group. There is presently no resolution||fix for this anomaly. I'm afraid
what you see is what you get.

No. You can drag a URL from the Address bar to a particular folder,
either in the Favorites bar or in an Explorer window (as has always
been possible.)
