Re: Internet Explorer 7
Specific instructions for sizing windows (applies to IE 7):
To minimize the window, click on the '-' symbol in the upper right of the browser frame. To maximize the window, click on the square symbol in the upper right of the browser frame. To return a maximized window to its previous size, click on the cascading boxes symbol in the upper right of the browser frame. To select a custom size for the window, rest your cursor at the edge of a window or at any corner; when the cursor turns to a double-headed arrow, click your mouse and drag the window to any size or dimension you wish. There are two other commonly employed ways to accomplish the above: Either click on the symbol in the top left corner of the browser frame, or right-click on the window's toolbar button and select from the context menu. --- Leonard Grey Errare humanum est DEANO wrote: > I am having trouble sizing the windows in IE 7. Re: Internet Explorer 7
Thanks so much for your help, but the problem I am trying to solve is getting
the window larger when it first opens. I know how to adjust it once it is open. When they open now they are about 4" by 6". I want them to open larger so that I do not have to manually adjust them. Thanks for your help "Leonard Grey" wrote: > Specific instructions for sizing windows (applies to IE 7): > > To minimize the window, click on the '-' symbol in the upper right of > the browser frame. > > To maximize the window, click on the square symbol in the upper right of > the browser frame. > > To return a maximized window to its previous size, click on the > cascading boxes symbol in the upper right of the browser frame. > > To select a custom size for the window, rest your cursor at the edge of > a window or at any corner; when the cursor turns to a double-headed > arrow, click your mouse and drag the window to any size or dimension you > wish. > > There are two other commonly employed ways to accomplish the above: > Either click on the symbol in the top left corner of the browser frame, > or right-click on the window's toolbar button and select from the > context menu. > > --- > Leonard Grey > Errare humanum est > > DEANO wrote: > > I am having trouble sizing the windows in IE 7. Re: Internet Explorer 7
Expand it manually to the size you want -- then close with "X" and open
again. That MAY do the trick. Re: Internet Explorer 7
1.Do NOT maximize the window. "Grab" its corners with your cursor and drag
it to the desired larger size (e.g., fullscreen). 2. Close all other IE windows then close the one you just resized. The resized window /must/ be the last window closed for its size to be remembered. Or install IE New Window Maximizer: http://www.jiisoft.com/iemaximizer/ -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE, OE, Security, Shell/User) AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net DTS-L http://dts-l.net/ DEANO wrote: > Thanks so much for your help, but the problem I am trying to solve is > getting the window larger when it first opens. Re: Internet Explorer 7
All you asked for was "specific instructions for sizing the windows".

Re: Internet Explorer 7
After you resize a window, exit by using the "File" "close" command, and
make sure that this is the last window you exit from.
