Flash site accessibilty issues in IE
Hi all
When going to my site in IE I get the following message. Do you want to save this file, or find a program online to open it? I must admit the same problem occurs with Firefox as well, and the site is designed around Flash v8. What can be causing this? your help much appreciated. |

Windows XP Pro + SP2 including IE v7
I think this is related to folder permission on the linux webserver where i have the flash site running, but was hoping for someone to have come across this issue and point me in the right direction. Re: Flash site accessibilty issues in IE
Try uninstalling / reinstalling Flash Player. Use the uninstaller at
http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowled...fm?id=tn_14157 Flash player download: http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/ If there are still problems see http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowled...fm?id=fb1634cb Download SubInACL from Microsoft to fix permission issues that prevent the Flash Player Installation. See http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowled...fm?id=fb1634cb "AP" <ap76@email.com> wrote in message news:%23dyUJDWSIHA.3676@TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... > Windows XP Pro + SP2 including IE v7 > I think this is related to folder permission on the linux webserver where > i have the flash site running, but was hoping for someone to have come > across this issue and point me in the right direction. > > "Frank Saunders, MS-MVP OE/WM" <franksaunders@mvps.org> wrote in message > news:eIpIy3VSIHA.5264@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... >> "AP" <ap76@email.com> wrote in message >> news:%23gVUOeVSIHA.5400@TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... >>> Hi all >>> >>> When going to my site in IE I get the following message. >>> Do you want to save this file, or find a program online to open it? >>> I must admit the same problem occurs with Firefox as well, and the site >>> is designed around Flash v8. >>> What can be causing this? >>> your help much appreciated. >>> >>> >> >> IE version? >> Windows version? |
