MS is cracking my homepage
It is highly inacceptable that MS chnages my homepage to an ad for IE7, I
don't want to install IE7, I will never want to install it. Please stop behaving like spyware if you want to be considered as a secure supplier !! How can I revert to my genuine homepage without installin IE7 ? ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. Re: MS is cracking my homepage
It is the one I put in IE configuration, can vary from one station to the
other. But all my users had the same ad instead. Some clicked on install it and I consider this as a security threat as everyone knows IE7 is worse tha IE6 in terms of security. They can't install it if you don't give them the permission level to do so. If security is really an issue for you then you might want to fix that ASAP. |

IE updates (uncheck). If you don't want to install IE7, go to Windows Update and "hide" it. -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE, OE, Security, Shell/User) AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net DTS-L http://dts-l.net/ FCDIRCKX wrote: > It is highly inacceptable that MS chnages my homepage to an ad for IE7, I > don't want to install IE7, I will never want to install it. > Please stop behaving like spyware if you want to be considered as a secure > supplier !! > How can I revert to my genuine homepage without installin IE7 ? |
