Microsoft Office Help
I have a question -
I currently own the discs for Microsoft Office XP Professional. When I loaded it the first time onto my computer, it didn't load I guess what you call the media disc? Well, I needed the brochure template tonight so I thought I would load it. Office wouldn't recognize the discs (either of them). So I panicked, deleted the whole office suite and now I cannot reload it onto my computer at all without it saying windows cannot find the installation program. But the kicker is the cd-rom is in the drive. Anyone have any idea what's going on and have any helpful hints? Any help is welcome. Thanks so much! |

Can Windows see anything on other CDs when you put them in the same drive? Try powering the computer down completely (the CD drive too if it's an external). Give it five minutes or so, then restart. Re: Microsoft Office Help
Thanks. I tried rebooting it last night but it didn't do anything. Maybe
tonight before I go to bed I'll power down and see what happens tomorrow. Thanks. Re: Microsoft Office Help
Yes it can. It read the Office Media CD and it also read a DVD I had inserted
to watch. "Steve Rindsberg" wrote: > In article <8304A82E-DD97-4A2D-8209-3E4DFC19F868@microsoft.com>, Erica0618 wrote: > > Thanks. I tried rebooting it last night but it didn't do anything.
