Compatability with netware servers

Right now I'm having problems with MS Office (various versions 2K pro, 2003
basic, 2003 pro). The problem is with the inability to open or save files
accross our network or have the system hang for 15 sec to a couple of
minutes. Sometimes the files is unable to be opened or saved. We are running
novell servers (netware 6.5) as well as windows servers (windows 2003
server). There are multiple systems (running win 2k pro sp4, win xp sp2 with
all of the updates) that have this problem. These problems predominantly
happen in MS word and excel. I have heard that novell systems and MS office
have hadd problems are there any solutions to this?
Thanks for the help.

Novell hosts several lively newsgroups populated by Novell gurus who are
both knowledgeable and helpful.
If you are experiencing "known issues" between MS Office and Novel Netware,
If you don't find a solution in MS newsgroups, I suggest that you give the
gurus in the Novell newsgroups a shot at solving your dilemma.

Good luck,
Steve
