How do I remove, DRAFT, a watermark from microsoft 2000?

I tried the following, but neither option worked:
Try going to Format > Background > Printed Water mark and select "No
watermark"

In Word, click on View | Header and Footer. Click on the
watermark to select it, and press the Delete key.

Perhaps it's an image? how did "draft" get there in the first place? Ask
the author?
