Hi,

I had the error 'patch package could not be opened...' when trying to
repair/deinstall the existing installation. I used the Windows Installer
Cleanup utility to remove the product and now when I try to install it fails.
When I run setup directly it dies very soon after I enter the product key.

I ran "msiexec /i F:\STD11N.MSI /L*V c:\testing.txt" to gather some
information but it's a rather large file (700K or so). The following is a
small exerpt:

This worked for me (from 'Jonathan Wu's .NET and BizTalk Blog:

I ended up cleanning two registry keys which finally made it work:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\11.0\ Delivery\90A40409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Deliv ery\SourceEngine\Downloads\90A40409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9
