Problem with Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional

I downloaded a trial Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional and when the trial period
ended, I rejected it and deleted it from my programs. However, now,
everytime I am in Outlook to check my emails Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional
tries to download when I click on a link. Therefore, I am unable to open any
links in my email. Has this happened to anyone else? I have contacted Adobe
and their suggestions have not helped so far. HELP!!!

Did you delete it or uninstall it?

Re: Problem with Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional

What type of links are you clicking? Are they links to PDFs or just to
websites or what?

You may need to remove the Acrobat add-in from your Office applications.

You might also try downloading and installing the Adobe Reader instead and
see if that helps.

What suggestions have Adobe given you that haven't helped?

Re: Problem with Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional

Sounds like an IE problem to me. Open up Internet Explorer. From the
Tools menu, select Internet Options. Then select the Programs tab. Click
the Advanced tab, and delete out any of the add-ins that have PDF in
their names.

Just a thought.

Good Luck
