I'm having a problem with information in my Office documents getting
highlighted when I don't want it to! Not sure if I've got some setting
enabled to cause this. I put my cursor on a cell in Excel, or somewhere in a
Word document or Outlook e-mail and when I move the cursor around, it
automatically highlights the areas I moe it past! Can anyone help?

Sounds as though you have your Extend Selection turned on. Press your F8
key to toggle it on and off, to see if that helps.

Thank you Dawn! I've only been using these programs for 15+ years and I never
knew about this - or had this problem before! But I use F7 all the time to
spell chack so I'm probably hitting F8 by mistake and enabling that function.
I've got a new computer though too - and Vista - and lots of funny things
have ben happening since I got it! My MS keyboard is doing weird things -
like the space bar often does not work and the hot keys along the top no
longer work. Any ideas on that?

Sorry, I am not aware of those problems, but I know Vista requires
special drivers, so maybe you need to make sure you have the proper
drivers for your keyboard?
