Re: what's gonna happen after
At the end of the trial period, it's going to quit working, and your
documents will be read only. You won't be using any version of Office until you purchase one. Well, If my comkputer is brand new isn't it supposed to have windows and
microsoft software installed before going out to the market? -- John Davidson "Tom [Pepper] Willett" wrote: > At the end of the trial period, it's going to quit working, and your > documents will be read only. Re: what's gonna happen after
Microsoft Windows is the operating system that operates your computer. Office software is entirely optional and must be purchased separately. There are several office programs to choose from, including Microsoft Office, Corel Office and Open Office.

Re: what's gonna happen after
No, in a nutshell, a computer is supposed to have on it whatever the
vendor sells you. If you bought a "bare bones" system, you wouldn't get anything but the hardware. As in no operating system or other software, only a "driver set" for the motherboard on a CD. On the other end is the "consumer" PC and the manufacturer loads them with all kinds of miscellaneous "free" software and trial editions so the "buyer" thinks they are getting a "great buy". Basically if you want any "valuable" software, you will need to pay for it, either before or after the purchase of the PC.
