Rename a stock

Running Money +.
An equity I own went Chapter 11 and it't still trading with another
character added to the old symbol. Is there an easy way to rename the old
symbol to the new. Didn't see anything in the help. I suspect I could do a
1/1 spin off to the new symbol keeping 100% of the basis, but that really
doesn't seem like the right way.
Any point in the right direction appreciated.
Al.

RE: Rename a stock

I can't give you precise directions because I don't have a copy installed
here. R-click on an transaction involving the investment. Select the Go To
Investment xxx choice. From this page, in the left, there is some kind of a
link to edit the settings for this investment. From there you can change
name/symbol.
