Installing Money Plus Deluxe error
When running "Setup.exe" from the CD I get the error : The AUTORUN.INF file
is missing or corrupt. I tried an older version from Money 2003 and get the same error message. Using windows explorer the file is there and also readable with notepad. Any Ideas? |

I would go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\IniFileMapping\Autorun.inf] @="@SYS oesNotExist"in regedit and delete the key. But maybe I would be wrong to do that. I have that key fairly recently added myself. You could save a restore point before making the change, and restore that restore point if you wanted to undo it. Of course let us know what you learn. > >"Cal Learner-- MVP" wrote: > >> In microsoft.public.money, MrBadBack wrote: >> >> >When running "Setup.exe" from the CD I get the error : The AUTORUN.INF file >> >is missing or corrupt. I took out the edit and retried installing Money and got the same response

Re: Installing Money Plus Deluxe error
Hi - I was wondering if there was any further resolution to this issue. I am
having the exact same problem - and I too deleted the registry key as recommended below and still cannot get the Money Plus Deluxe software to install on my computer.
